A lady in black clothing sells white nazuki at the open-air bazaar on the northwest side of the Station Square Station in Tbilisi. Being sold outdoors, usually it has dried out completely and lacks any freshness. Therefore, to enjoy this nazuki deliciously, you must take it home and “revive” (= sprinkle with water then reheat) it in the microwave or toaster. When I tested this at home, I was able to successfully revive it. The dough has a relatively strong cardamom aroma, with average sweetness. The nazuki has few raisins. Since it’s sold outdoors, insects sometimes land on the surface. While the location is good, those concerned about hygiene might want to avoid this nazuki. A nazuki costs three lari, but buying two costs five lari total. No parking space available. Cash payment only.
