A bakery selling thick white nazuki for 3 lari. The dough is soft and fluffy with a strong raisin flavor. This shop’s nazuki features relatively large raisins generously embedded in the fluffy dough, making it enjoyable to eat even when it’s cold. The fluffiness of the dough is comparable to “the thickest imaginable pizza crust” or “the fluffiest part of shotis puri.” Unlike traditional crescent-shaped nazuki with a hard “base”, this nazuki’s shape reminded me of Surami’s Natifi Nazuki, making me to suspect it was baked in an oven. However, according to the owner, it’s actually baked in a tone. Interestingly, the shop also occasionally sells “nazuki rusk” for 3 lari (it wasn’t available during my first visit, so I’ll update this review once I find it). The bakery is within walking distance from East Point (mall), making it a convenient stop on a shopping day. Note that children seems to play on the sidewalk, so if you park on the street by the shop, drive defensively with a “what if” mindset. There’s no parking available other than street parking. Credit cards accepted.

As a side note, there are several shops selling rotisserie chicken clustered around this area. Perhaps rotisserie chicken is a local specialty of this street?
