When entering Surami from the east, the first shop you’ll see after the roundabout is this place, No. 22. The handmade sign and the model of the nazuki might be a strange sight for first-time visitors. No. 22 sells white nazuki, and the flavor is rather subtle, so it’s a good choice for those who prefer a lighter taste. The nazuki I was served had a bunch of raisins clumped on one side.
Appearing also on other websites, the view of the “Nazuki Road” just a bit to the east of the shop is surrealistic, making this shop a photogenic spot. Please be careful when taking pictures, as you’ll turning away from the cars driving on the adjacent lane.
